heeeeeyyyy i'll tell you a story! (i hope this time it isn't lame like the previous ones....)
today at work (I TUTOR TWO YEAR 4 GIRLS YEAH?!) one of them, her name's hannah, asked me what a goanna was. the other one, called sara, answered before me and said 'a giant lizard!' so i nodded and said yes! sara continued, saying goanna's eat birds eggs. and i agreed. hannah then asked me if goannas eat birds, and i replied yes. immediately regretting it as i saw the shock on her face. "BIRDS AS WELL?!" hahaha they're so cute :3


they tell me stories about what happened at school recently, what were the most embarrassing and gross things that ever happen to them...whenever they ask me, i always can't quite seem to remember and answer them. is it because of the academic overload which is making everything else a backdrop, or is it just simply because i am devoid of these essential life experiences?! aiya.


the other week sara wrote me a letter (some words and pictures on a piece of paper, which i cannot find atm -.-) saying that i was smart, pretty, and other words i can't quite remember! she even made an (i forgot what it was called :O)... looks like this, where you write a descriptive word for each letter:


h: hello!
a: anonymous!
p: puffballs!
p: platter!
y: yay!


sorry, extremely lame example but hopefully you'll get what i mean. 


BUT. point of my story is, it's amazing how pure, selfless and unbiased young children are. how they don't judge others by the clothes they wear. how they don't see defects in absolutely anyone! 


from my end, compliments and little things like that are GOLD. in a school and world where i am probably average for some subjects and opinions are looks > many other things, i feel happy :) bliss.

Hi! this is an incredibly over-due post :) but let's see what i can remember from the past few days shall we?
